Fish & ChipsDining in this shop bring back some memory of Australia. This shop is decorated like a beach side fish & chip shop, with walls painted in blue. It isn’t big, thus I refuse to call it restaurant. The dining area is enough for around 18-20 persons. But I love it for its humble place.

The challenge of getting here, aside from finding it, is parking space. There are huge parking spaces in the shopping complex across, which will charge you double for using their parking space, but not patroning their tenants.

Meat PieThe food is pretty much monotonous. Aside from the fish & chips, they served what they call as Australian Hamburger, and meatpie. They didn’t do well with meat though, without any special taste worth to be told. But they sure master the art of cooking a good fish for fish & chips.

The fish (snapper, I presume) is fried in a thin yellowish cooking powder, which creates a thin crispy skin. Combined with soft, salty fish that melt in your mouth, creating a very memorable taste. There are 3 serving size for fish & chips, the kids, captain and admiral. Try the admiral size, you won’t regret it. All fish is served with a good tartar sauce.

Those who served us are very friendly. This shop has served fish & chips for 11 years, and just had a renovation few months ago with a new owner. Open daily until 10pm and 11pm on the weekend. Close on Friday between 11am-1pm for Friday prayer.
