A New Dawn for Sunsetmood

After almost one month delay, I’m proudly announce a new blog from sunsetmood: dawnabroad.com. The blog will host all my new posting in English. The new blog’s content is also aggregated to Lonely Planet’s blogsherpa program.

So, what happen to this blog, sunsetmood.web.id?

As time goes, sunsetmood.web.id has grown more and more visitors from my beloved country, Indonesia. In 2008, when I first seriously run this blog, visitors from Indonesia only made up of less than 30% of total visitor. The blog’s visitor has grown almost 10 folds since then, and now 90% of visitors come from Indonesia. This might have to do with the domain name, which is tied to Indonesia.

So, moving forward, I will create new post in this blog in Bahasa Indonesia. As you might have noticed, I’ve done some trial post in Bahasa Indonesia in the last couple of weeks, with a good response. I’m also considering a refreshment of the blog template to a template which can have featured post.

The focus of this blog will also mimic of what I’ve been aiming for dawnabroad.com: To encourage independent traveler. Sunsetmood.web.id will focus on Indonesian, who wish to travel independently within the country, or to the world.

In a couple weeks, I will be selectively moving some of older post to my new blog. The post that is moved to dawnabroad.com might be deleted or remains on this site.
