The Phoenix Hotel Jogja

Sitting in 1918’s Lobby Bar  at The Phoenix Hotel, Jogja, made my imagination gone wild. Putting myself back in 1918, when the building was just built, I would sit at the patio, facing my inner courtyard. An evening rain drops, and the evening light dancing behind the rain.

Jogja Solo Trip – Hotel Melia Purosani

Armed with morning newspaper, I walked down to the restaurant for breakfast. “Coffee please”, I said to the waitress. The newspaper seems to be useless, since the green courtyard under the clear blue sky of Jogja is more appealing than political issues in the newspaper. Especially if you’re on vacation.
